The news that made my day

Great news this morning as I checked Ronen Bekerman’s blog to find that I had won the GH House archviz competition. It’s a fantastic feeling (and equally fantastic prizes). As well as congratulating my fellow winners, I’d like to thank Ronen for finding the time to host this terrifically well organised challenge despite his heavy work schedule. Thanks to the sponsors and warm thanks, too, to those of you who took the time to comment and give precious advice in my WIP thread.

The challenge was to dress up and render a very handsome house model developed by Dunsky Kornhauser Architects.

Below are my two entries. Clicking on the images will take you to the corresponding Flickr photo set, where you’ll find extra detail shots too.

Check the other winners and entrants at Ronen’s challenge page.
