This has been lying on my hard drive for some time, so here it is. No particular point to this other that Spring is my personal beer time and this might just be, if not the best beer in the world, probably the best beer in Berlin.
All done in 3ds Max and V-Ray. And no, I’m not affiliated with BRLO in any way.
Enjoy (with moderation).
Yoo Bertrand, can you explain to me how you make glass material… Especially bump part of shader…
Best regards JT
Beer my passion my favourite is Edelstoff, i think is very appreciated in the country where do you live. What is the workflow for scan the label? Some time ago i worked for some model for my render, and i wanted do a label with gold reflection but for my know how its hard get a mask ref and a perfect scan of reflective surface.
Hi Egor. Thanks. No motion blur. The DOF is done with a custom bokeh map and the and a small positive optical vignetting, which warps the bokeh shape at the edge. You don’t want to set it too high, as it can really distort the image and it will also take longer to render. Check here for more info: http://bertrand-benoit.com/blog/wonky-bokeh/
Hi. Love it. Thank you for inspiration. I have one question: very interesting DOF effect, is it motion blur? Thank you in advance.
Thats great to here, (doesn´t matter which engine) but every new set of renderings becomes a “Schmankerl” and this one sues me to drink alcohol. (Will try to get this brand in Hamburg)
I love Corona. I’m still more fluent in V-Ray. It’s a second nature. But I’m working on a Corona piece right now.
A pleasure as usual, I already forgot “Berliner Weisse” and the right stuff for hot days. But especially now the question afflicts me, don´t you like corona anymore?!
