GH House Making-of

There’s been a dearth of tips, tricks and tuts here, I know. But Ronen Bekerman has just given me a hand by publishing the tutorial for my GH House project, winner of Ronen’s recent vizualisation challenge.

You can find the tut here as well as two mini-tuts on how to use CG Source’s great FloorGenerator plugin and how to create rain-splattered windows.

The gallery for all my GH Images is here.

Excellent work – They should ban you from competitions because no one else has a chance 😉 Your attention to detail really stands out in the making of – that bookcase is simply amazing. The max container is something I have not heard of before but will definately check out. Did you use onyx grass to make the wheat/barley?

Hi, thanks a lot. Re wheat/weed: they were modelled by hand. Not as time consuming as it may seem.

Ok, I’ll give it a go – not sure I will find it quite as easy as you ;-P I still have much to learn about modelling workflow, I am sure this is important to cutting out or shortening many of the steps in a complex task.
